Campus Tours and Visit
We generally* offer Campus and Residence Hall tours Monday through Friday at 11 am and 2 pm, following our Academic Calendar, while our Information Sessions are held at 1 pm to complement these tours. On Mondays and Fridays during the school year we offer a tour at 9:30 am.
All tours take approximately 90 minutes, and the information sessions run under an hour.
Tours and Information Sessions meet in the Pankey Visitor Center located within the main lobby of Argyros Forum (Building 11 on the Campus Map) at 386 N Center Street. Please check in 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
The Campus portion of the tour offers a general look at the central section of our campus, including the recently completed Wilson Field, Oliphant Hall and the Fish Interfaith Center. For tours of a particular department or facility, such as the Leatherby Libraries or the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, please contact that department about the possibility of setting up a tour specific to their department or facility. (Note: Not all departments offer a specific tour.)
*Please Note the following exceptions to our tour schedule:
We are unable to hold tours during and the week immediately following final exams, during orientation, the first week of a semester, and when the entire campus is closed for major holidays.
*Spring 2008 No Campus Tours during Final Examinations and the first week of Summer Break (Monday May 12 through Friday May 23). Chapman will be closed on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26) and no campus tours will be available.
*Summer 2008 Campus Tours during the Summer months are only held M W F at 11:00 and T TH at 2:00. No Campus Tours on the following dates: Chapman will be closed on the 4th of July. No tours on Student Registration Days, July 10, 14, 15, and 31, and no tours during Orientation, August 18th-23rd 2008.
*Fall 2008 No Campus Tours during first week of instruction (Monday, August 25 – Friday, August 29). Chapman will be closed on Labor Day (Monday, September 1). No tours will be available at Thanksgiving Recess (Wednesday, November 26 - Friday, November 28) No Campus Tours during Final examinations (Monday, December 8 - Saturday, December 13)

Directions & Parking
Chapman University is located at One University Drive in Orange, California at the corner of University Drive (Sycamore to the west) and Glassell Street.
The Office of Admission is located on the third floor of Argyros Forum at 386 N. Center Street, in room 304
To reach Chapman University: From the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) or the Orange Freeway (Hwy. 57) take Chapman Avenue in Orange east to Glassell Street. Drive ¾ of the way around the traffic circle to proceed north on Glassell. (Please be aware that there is a different Chapman Avenue in the city of Fullerton which also has an exit off of Hwy 57.)
From the Garden Grove Freeway (Hwy. 22) take Glassell north.
From the Newport Freeway (Hwy. 55) take Chapman Avenue West to Glassell.

Parking: Please park in the new Lastinger Athletics Parking Facility, located under Wilson Field. (P4 on the Campus Map) The entrance to the underground structure is on Walnut Avenue. Stay in the right hand lane and purchase a short term parking permit from the yellow dispenser there, and place it on the driver’s side dashboard. The dispenser only accepts one dollar bills. You may need to ‘wake’ the machine by pressing any button, and then you will be able to instruct it as to which pass you wish to purchase: $2 = 2 hours, $3 = 4 hours, $5 = 12 hours.
The Admission Office is located in Argyros Forum, Suite 304, (Building 11 on the Campus Map) near the south-east corner of the Wilson Field/Lastinger Underground Parking Structure. Take the main stairway or elevator at the south end of the parking structure up to ground level.
Please observe all city parking restrictions on public streets surrounding the campus. (Citations may result from violations.)
