DEPARTMENTAL APPLICATIONS AND AUDITIONS
Students applying to the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, the Conservatory of Music, or the Departments of Theatre, Dance, or Art must submit departmental application materials. The departmental applications may be downloaded from our Web site at www.chapman.edu/apply.

FINANCIAL AID
At Chapman, we want every qualified student to prosper, regardless of financial ability. More than 82 percent of Chapman students benefit from some form of financial aid or scholarship assistance. Need-based financial awards may include a combination of grants, scholarships, loans and/or work-study. Awards are renewable, assuming students complete the annual application process on time.

How to Apply for Financial Aid:
Between January 2 and March 2 of each year, complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) either in hard copy or online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Chapman’s Title IV code is 001164. Be sure to complete the form accurately and save or print a copy for your records. If you live in the state of California, confirm that a verified grade point average (GPA) has been submitted to the California Student Aid Commission for consideration for a Cal Grant, as well.

MERIT AND TALENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Chapman recognizes the academic excellence of incoming students by awarding scholarships, which are available regardless of financial need and are awarded based on a combination of grades, SAT or ACT scores, and curriculum. You may audition or submit portfolios for scholarship consideration in the areas of art, creative writing, journalism, dance, film and television, music, science or theatre. Contact the Office of Admission or the appropriate academic department for information on submission and award guidelines.
