Erin Whittinghill: I earned a BA in Philosophy from USC, and I am currently enrolled in the MA English / MFA Creative Writing program at Chapman. In addition to nearly a decade of co-ownership of a business that provided a drunken driving penalty program for the L.A. County Probation Department, I have worked as a script reader, marketing analyst, retail manager, catechism teacher, freelance tutor, and emergency medical technician. In my spare time, I read and write poetry and fiction, and attempt to bake the perfect pie crust.

Lauren Benke is a junior from Loveland, Colorado. She is pursuing a nonsensical double major in Creative Writing and Dance, but naively hopes that this will someday create a career. Lauren enjoys writing for both escape and for academia: novels, short stories, and papers for classes if the topic is at least barely tolerable. She would love to help with any writing need you might have, and has experience with papers for literature, sociology, psychology, and reviews of art. Lauren spent a semester studying abroad in Scotland, so if you have a paper about Robert Burns or bagpiping, she'd be thrilled to help. She also enjoys the challenge of writing for a specific audience and would love to work with you to impress your reader whether you are working on a lab report or an epic poem.

Sara Hunt is a junior Creative Writing major pursuing minors in Women's Studies and GLBT Studies. She's a feminist of the friendliest sort and native San Diegan (though not a surfer) who considers herself able to find the positive in any piece of writing and wants to help you write as successfully as you can. Her writing experience tends towards the literary and the fictional, but she finds ways to apply creativity to any piece in any subject and thinks it's actually fun to write papers... usually. Having subjected herself to classes in sociology, psychology, communications, political science, humanities, and leadership as well as multiple eras of English literature and writing, she's had a lot of practice.

David Sutton - Hello, everyone. I received a BA in English Literature from California State University of Long Beach in 2010. There I primarily focused on Post-Civil War American Literature and Metafiction. Currently, I am studying law at Chapman University School of Law where I hope to obtain my Juris Doctorate, as well as an emphasis in Entertainment or Tax law. I was hired by Chapman's writing center to primarily serve law students by editing memorandums and legal briefs; however, I am more than happy to answer questions about English papers, resumes, and cover letters should they need arise. In my free time I enjoy playing, writing, and recording music; playing video games; and playing sports with friends. I look forward to working with you all!

Tiffany Monroe: I received both my BA and MA in English from Chapman. Currently, I’m working on a poetry manuscript to finish my MFA in Creative Writing. I enjoy helping students with every stage of writing from brainstorming to thesis statements. In addition to reading and writing, I watch far too much television and, slightly, fewer movies. My love of England has led me across the pond twice where I developed an addiction to PG Tips and a desire to spell things with an extra "u."

Marina Markossian graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. After completing her M.A from Chapman University, she hopes to earn a PhD focusing on either post-colonial literature or multicultural female writers. When she is not in the library or immersed in a book, she has a strong case of wanderlust and aspires to travel all over the world where she can put into practice her epicurean tendencies.
