Breadth Requirements Approved GE courses (The following approved GE courses are for Interterm and Spring 2008, all other catalog years refer to the Catalogs site.)
The classes listed below will satisfy the requirements in the following areas. See the Course Schedules to plan which classes you can take in the coming term.
Enrolling in a cross-listed course will not satisfy the breadth requirements if the home course is a course in the student's discipline.
Fine and Performing Arts (3 credits)In fulfilling this requirement, students may either explore the history and theory of an art form (visual arts, theatre, dance, film/TV, music) or engage directly in the creative experience by taking a class in performance (theatre, dance, music, communication studies), studio art, filmmaking, or creative writing.
