Chapman offers Biochemistry majors the opportunity for a fast-track transition to the Master of Bioscience program, a degree that gives students the ability to apply their science and engineering on product development and marketing and prepares professionals for leadership positions in bioscience industries. Students who take the necessary classes, maintain appropriate grades, and demonstrate overall excellence in the biochemistry and molecular biology major are guaranteed a seat in the graduate program.

- In collaboration with your biochemistry academic advisor, develop a curriculum plan to ensure your eligibility for this program.
- Complete either a 300 hour approved internship in the applied life sciences or a summer NSF-REU.
+-Steps to Take Between September 1 and October 1 of Your Senior Year at Chapman
- Submit an online application before October 1.
- Work with an admission counselor to ensure your application packet is complete before October 1.
- Request a letter from the Associate Dean of the Crean School of Health and Life Sciences verifying your eligibility.
- Letter is due before October 1.
- Provide verification of your completed internship experience and hours or your NSF-REU experience.

- Submit proof of graduation from Chapman before June 20.
- Submit final, official transcripts from Chapman.
