Risk Management

Risk Management provides support and consultation to staff and faculty on a wide range of matters that impact the financial health and wellbeing of the university community. The operations of the department are directed by Allan F. Brooks, CPCU, ARM who serves as University Risk Manager.  Mr. Brooks is supported by Karen Swift, Chapman’s Environmental Health & Safety Specialist.

Key work of this Department includes identifying, evaluating, and controlling loss exposures faced by the University.  Our goal is to minimize the adverse effects of unpredictable events. Our work is a team effort, done by educating and empowering the entire University community on relevant issues.
