Withdrawal
Students are considered withdrawn from the university if they:
- Drop all courses in which they are enrolled during a semester;
- After completing a semester they do not return for the subsequent semester.
Students withdrawing during the semester may drop their classes through WebAdvisor, or submit the Registration form to drop classes to the Registrar’s Office for Orange Campus or to the Campus Enrollment Services Office for University College during the drop and withdraw periods. See your campus’ academic calendar for drop and withdraw periods.
All students (other than Orange Campus Graduate students) who plan to return after interrupting their enrollment at Chapman University, please see Interrupted Enrollment policy.
All Orange Campus Graduate students who plan to return after interrupting their enrollment, please see the Leave of Absence policy.
Current Orange Campus students who are uncertain whether to drop their last class or withdraw from the university are strongly urged to contact the campus Dean of Students prior to withdrawing. Orange Campus Graduate students should contact the Chancellor's Office.
Current University College students who are uncertain whether to drop their last class or withdraw from the university are strongly urged to meet with their advisor at the campus they attend.
