Change of Major or Minor for New StudentsNewly Admitted Freshman or Transfer students wishing to change majors prior to the start of your first term must select a new major from the programs listed on Chapman's Academic Schools, Colleges & Programs website (link on the left).
Request forms for major or minor changes may be e-mailed to registrar@chapman.edu. E-mailed requests will be accepted by the Registrar's Office only when sent through the student's Chapman e-mail account and when the requested program changes do not require departmental approvals. Requests for changes requiring departmental approvals must be printed and completed with the required signatures before submitting to the Registrar's Office.
Requests for Theatre, Dance or any program changes under the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts must be approved by the respective departments in that school.
Requests for major changes must be e-mailed through the student's Chapman e-mail account to certify the student's identity as a Chapman University student. Change of Major or Minor Forms
