What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
While at Chapman I've learned that I have met the friends of a lifetime.  We will grow old together and always cherish the great memories of our college days. I've learned there is nothing that isn't worth celebrating... especially in President Doti's eyes! I've gained the insight that no matter how diverse a group may seem, they can accomplish great things together.

Life never stops. Each and every day we make decisions that affect who we are and who we are to become. Chapman is a place of developing one's personal integrity, life-long learning, and growth.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
I have learned who I really am. Here at Chapman, I have truly learned how to love myself and be who I am. This campus is full of amazing individuals and I love that our campus has so many opportunities to do great things and meet inspiring individuals. Chapman has given me the chance to do so many things, and I recommend you take advantage of what they have to offer. I have truly learned to be a better person and the best version of myself because of Chapman.

Random fun fact about yourself.
I have been a part of 3 world records. 1. With my service organization we had the most amount of hair cut and donated to locks of love at once. 2. Most amount of people wearing snuggies at once. 3. Most amount of people wearing wrestling masks at once. Look it up in the Guinness Book of World Records.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
While at Chapman I have learned to trust myself. As a first generation college student, I was very nervous about the kind of experiences and situations I would find myself in during my undergraduate years. But, I quickly learned that Chapman is a community that really strives to provide great opportunities for students, I just had to stop being afraid. Trust yourself and go for it--you can accomplish anything!

I love music, but even that is an understatement. I can play eight instruments and they are: piano, clarinet, flute, violin, guitar, jarana (a small guitar), harp, and some drums.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
Our study abroad office is such a unique service that Chapman offers. They help you through the entire study abroad process, and are so encouraging about your academic success and travels while away from Chapman. Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I have made while a student here at Chapman.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
It's not about getting good grades and graduating as fast as you can with as many fancy-looking degrees under your belt. What really matters is what's in it for you, personally. Take this time to LEARN, both in and out of your classes. It's about discovering who you are and where your passions/interests lie. This college experience only comes once in your life; it is what you make of it.

Random fun fact about yourself.
When I was little I thought the word 'mustard' was pronounced 'monster', so I was afraid of trying it for a long time, and I was baffled at why people ate it.  It took me many years (up until the last few), to get accustomed to the taste. I still don't find it as thrilling as ketchup - which, by the way, is amazing, in case you haven't heard.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
While at Chapman I have come to realize that it is okay that I don't have an exact plan for the future. College is a time to explore and find what truly makes you happy and encourages you to be more successful in life and your academics. Chapman has given me the opportunity to truly be myself.

At Chapman I learned how to be a leader. I learned the value and importance of being involved and was even able to start a club my Sophomore year. Chapman makes it so easy to get involved and offers guidance for all of our needs and interests.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
College is a place where you are able to embrace not only the adult side of yourself, but also the childish side. If I had a dollar for every mention of Pokemon or Disney that I have heard within the last two years, I think I would have been able to use that money to pay for my first year of college.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman?
I have learned how genuinely important is it to get involved while at Chapman. This school has so much to offer students. I think Chapman has every possible club or organization to reach out to any interest. The people I have met and the relationships I have built by getting involved are invaluable. Getting involved at Chapman has helped me reach an inner potential I never knew I had.
