What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? College life at Chapman for me has always been about finding balance between the social life and the academic life. While academics have always been my top priority, I have realized that balancing work and studying with being involved with one or more organizations has allowed my college experience to really turn into something I love and will never forget. Chapman is great for getting involved socially because there is a club or organization for everyone and it's great to meet people who share the same passions that you do. Start your freshman year being involved and you will notice how much richer of an experience you will get from it.
Describe Orientation in 5 words or less. Craziest, most exciting(est) experience ever.
Random fun fact about yourself. I have once performed piano for the King of Nigeria.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? I have learned that being active in my education is key. If I hadn't gotten involved in groups such as SoundCheck and Chapman on Broadway, I would have never met my closest friends, made my best memories, or gained the valuable life experiences and knowledge I need to succeed. You will never find a more amazing chance to get involved than in college, and there is most definitely something for everyone!
Describe Orientation in 5 words or less. Unforgettable, crazy fun, unique, inspiring :)
Random fun fact about yourself. I worked at a pizza restaurant for almost 2 years so I can make a mean pie, tossing and all!

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? I am incredibly fortunate to be studying something that I am really passionate about and in the past two years studying at Chapman's conservatory I have learned more about Music than I dreamed was possible. However, more important than my improvement as a musician has been my growth as a person. My experiences have taught me how to succeed academically and through my involvement and the friends I've made, I have learned how to get the most out of each and every day.
Describe Orientation in 5 words or less. Unexpected. Inspiring. Valuable. Life changing.
Random fun fact about yourself. I love studying music and singing with Chapman SoundCheck, but outside of school I sing in a semi-professional young women's Barbershop Quartet. We've been singing together for 9 years and last October we placed 4th in the world at the International Female Barbershop Competition. We'll be practicing all summer to compete again this fall. It's not something you expect people our age to be involved in but it is a lot of fun!

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? The most important thing that I have learned while at Chapman is to get involved! There are so man different opportunities to get involved on campus and you meet so many amazing friends with similar interests and personalities when you step out of your dorm room and look into your options. I have built lifelong friendships with people I would have never met had I not taken advantage of Chapman's numerous involvement opportunities. Informative, fast-paced, energetic, social, and memorable.
Describe Orientation in 5 words or less. Informative, Fast-paced, Energetic, Social, and Memorable.
Random fun fact about yourself. I have travelled overseas twice to Russia, Finland, Prague, and Vienna while I was in high school as a violist in the Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra. It was such an experience, and I made so many great memories that I will never forget! It's awesome to know that music is the same everywhere in the world, as it is such a big part of my life. Appreciate great music, it'll get you places!
