What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? Taking a positive outlook on life and everyone/everything around you will lead to so many opportunities and beautiful aspects of life that were once hidden. Chapman has facilitated this perspective within my own mind and it has benefitted me beyond measure. I absolutely love my outlook on life and I can directly relate it to the indirect teachings given to me by the people and the environment at Chapman.

As with everything in life, the more you give, the more you get, and taking the time to build great relationships has made my Chapman experience everything I wanted it to be and more. Of course we're all here to learn, but some of my most valuable lessons have come outside the classroom, from the amazing people I've met.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? As unoriginal as it sounds, the thing that I have learned most at Chapman can be summed up in this cliched statement: You get as much as you give. If you are motivated and take every opportunity to pursue your interests, whether they be academic, social, artistic, or athletic, you will undoubtedly be much more successful than you would be if you simply waited for those activities to come to you.

What is something important that you have learned while at Chapman? I have learned is that it is okay to take risks in college, and that you shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes. College is the chance to discover the passions of your life, and help aim you in the right direction to fulfill those passions. It's okay to switch majors, change classes, teachers, etc. What is important is that you are doing what makes you happy.

The biggest things I've learned here at Chapman are how to be an independent, responsible adult, and still maintain a healthy level of playfulness in my life.
