About UsThe Chapman Law Review publishes three times a year-- in the fall, winter and spring. The Review receives several hundred unsolicited professional manuscripts each year from professors and lawyers. Articles are reviewed for timeliness, quality of writing, and topical interest. Additionally, the Review publishes the best Notes or Comments written by our second-year students. The Review is a completely student-run organization and all management, editorial, and publication control is vested in its members. Based on their academic performance in their first year, students are automatically offered staff positions or are invited to participate in the summer write-on competition. The Editorial Board is then selected from within the membership ranks based on their leadership, diligence, and demonstrated service to the Review. Membership on the Review Editorial Board is an honor and a significant time commitment. The Review receives tremendous support from the faculty and administration, as well as our Faculty Advisors, Professors Marisa Cianciarulo, Bobby L. Dexter, Celestine Richards McConville, Dr. Richard E. Redding, Lawrence Rosenthal, and John Tehranian. |
