Student Employee Recognition

Each year the National Student Employment Association declares a full week in April “National Student Employment Week.” During that week, colleges and universities across the country recognize the importance of the student work experience. Student employment offers students career-enhancing opportunities, the ability to develop skills relevant in any career, better preparation for the job market upon graduation, and the ability to offset some of the cost of higher education.

At Chapman University, student employees perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. Indeed, Chapman depends on the contribution of our student employees for the efficient operation of the entire campus.

Student Employee of the Year Award

Another important component of National Student Employment Week is the presentation of the Student Employee of the Year Award. As well as thanking you, the employers, who hire students for part-time positions. Your participation is certainly one of the keys that makes the student employment program such a success.
