Hobbs Institute for Real Estate, Law, and Environmental Studies About the programThe Certificate in Real Estate and Innovative Development for the 21st Century is an interdisciplinary program offered jointly by Extended Education and the Hobbs Institute for Real Estate, Law and Environmental Studies at Chapman University. With the support of the Urban Land Institute and the Orange County Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, this ground-breaking program is designed to offer professionals an integrative look at current issues related to real estate development, legal processes, and the environment. In addition, the program provides participants an opportunity to examine intersections between land development, the law, and issues related to a dynamic environment by creating synergistic opportunities to study the interplay between these three spheres and their influence on community and the market economy.
