PR > The Chapman 7 from the Class of 2011

Public Relations

A native of the British West Indies excels at a very American sport. A singular idea turns into 4 million letters of thanks for U.S. troops. A halting step forward fosters confident strides to curb teen-dating violence. These are among the countless stories of growth, outreach and achievement brought to Chapman this fall by the 937 students in the Class of 2011. How will the Chapman experience shape these students' lives and prepare them for the future? In an inaugural feature of a four-year project, we introduce seven students beginning an undergraduate journey tracking toward commencement in the university’s sesquicentennial (150th) year. In future issues of Chapman Magazine, we'll update the students' stories and chart their progress. What's more, we'll offer another window to the Chapman experience through this Web site that features the students' video Weblogs.
