No. Letters of recommendation are not required with your application.


What are Chapman's recommended GRE scores?

All applicants must submit current GRE scores. The GRE must have been taken within 5 years of application. All GRE scores will be taken from the same test, with recommended minimum scores as follows:

Regular Admission          Priority Admission
Verbal: 400 Verbal: 450
Quantitative: 500 Quantitative: 530
Analytical writing: 3.5   Analytical writing: 3.5

Do I have to apply to both Chapman University and the Doctor of Physical Therapy progam seperately?

No, only one application is required. Chapman University has recently partnered with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to provide an online application, click here to apply.


How long is the DPT program?

The DPT program is a three year, trimester program. Go to the Academic Programs page, to view the curriculum semester-by-semester.


When do you accept new students?

We begin accepting applications in December for fall enrollment.


How much does the program cost?

2008-2009 Tuition: $27,360 for the year and $9,120 per semester (costs will increase 3-5% each year).


What degree do I need to enter the DPT program?

You must hold either a BA/BS from an accredited college or university.


What is the difference between a professional (entry-level) DPT program and the transitional DPT Program?

The entry-level program is designed for students with a BA or BS degree. Students who hold either of these degrees in combination with the required cumulative GPA and prerequisites are eligible to apply for the program.

The transitional DPT program is for anyone who currently holds either a Bachelors of Physical Therapy or Master of Physical Therapy and is interested in obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.


Do you have part-time curriculum?

The DPT curriculum is a three year full-time program with no part-time curriculum.
