Experimental Social Psychology Laboratory
The Laboratory of Experimental Social Psychology allows students to pursue research in the areas of Social,Industrial/Organizational,Sports,and Personality Psychology. In operation since 1993, it has a video camera,a television monitor, pursuit rotors, computer, and space for questionnaire data. Students typically present their findings at the Western Psychological Association's meeting. Studies investigating the relationship between intense self-reflection (self-awareness) and achievement, the perceptions of different age groups in the workplace and how these influence expectations of success, and the examination of leadership variables between elite and non-elite athletes are currently in progress.
