Making the first appointment

The intake process involves a 10- to 15-minute interview by telephone. Fees are established on a sliding scale based on monthly gross income, so you will know what your fee will be at the time of this interview.

After your interview by telephone, your information is given to the Associate Director of the Clinic who will assign a therapist to call you for your first appointment. Assignments are based on your availability, as well as the type and nature of treatment requested. When you come in for the first appointment, there will be some paperwork for you to fill out, so you will be asked to come a few minutes early.
