Game DevelopmentComputer Science majors may choose to specialize in Game Development by selecting CPSC340 and CPSC 440 as their Computer Science Elective courses. Other students may choose to take the Game Development Cluster to fulfill their Inter/Multidisciplinary Cluster General Education requirement, or they may choose the Minor in Game Development Programming described below. Minor in Game Development ProgrammingStudents graduating with this minor will be prepared to compete for positions in the rapidly growing areas of interactive media and game development. In addition to the games created for entertainment and educational purposes, there is an emerging genre of serious games designed to help make decisions in public policy, corporate management and health care. Our students will have the skills necessary to contribute to these emerging fields. The curriculum for the minor has been designed in consultation with Chapman's advisory board of game industry professionals. The program consists of: lower division requirements (13 credits)
upper division requirements (6 credits)
two of the following, at least one upper division
