Current Students

We encourage you to meet with your advisor at least annually to be sure you are on track for your degree and more frequently if you have questions or concerns about direction. Many of the faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science are actively engaged in research programs in mathematics and computer science. We encourage you to meet with the faculty if you are interested in working on a project or have an idea for an independent study program. As a start, you can view the faculty web pages to learn more about their areas of interest.

We also encourage you to take advantage of the co-curricular and extra-curricular programs sponsored by the Department. Visit the Career Development Center for advice on building your resume and for employment and internship opportunities. Chapman offers job opportunities on campus. Employment within the Department or Information Systems and Technology involves web development, computer network administration and maintenance, and computing assistance.
