Chapman University Association of School Psychologists (CUASP)

Chapman University's first student school psychology student association was recognized by the university and the National Association of School Psychologists in 2008.

The Chapman University Association of School Psychologists (CUASP) unites the students in various stages of the program and serves as a medium for mentoring, peer support, and networking for practicum and internship sites.

The mission of both NASP and CUASP is to promote educationally and psychologically healthy environments for all children and youth by implementing research-based and effective programs that prevent problems, enhance independence, and promote optimal learning. This is accomplished through state-of-the art research and training, advocacy, ongoing program evaluation, and caring professional service.  More information on CUASP and how to become a member can be found on the Student L.E.A.D. website.
