I achieved my Doctorate in Education in 1991 from Claremont Graduate School now called Claremont Graduate University.  It is a research one institution and the education program consistently is ranked as one of the top three Ph.D.-awarding schools in the state.  I have been teaching at the Master's level for approximately ten years.  I am a published author with theoretical, methodological and theory/practice based works.  I have presented papers at numerous state and national conferences.  I am particularly active in the American  Educational Research Association; presenting papers annually for the past decade and assuming leadership positions in divisions and other committees.  Several distinguished researchers including Linda Darling Hammond, Sonia Nieto, Gary Anderson, Anne Lieberman and Jeannie Oaks have cited my work.
