Dr. Mary E. McNeil recently joined the College of Educational Studies at Chapman University and is serving as the Associate Dean and professor.

Prior to her arrival at Chapman University, she was at Plymouth State University of the University of New Hampshire System.  During her tenure in New Hampshire, she developed and directed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies Program in Educational Leadership, wrote and directed several grants (funded by the Department of State in Washington D.C.) which brought Pakistani teachers and administrators to New Hampshire for intensive summer graduate level work and initiated and served as editor of the New Hampshire Journal of Education.

Dr. McNeil has an extensive background in teaching, grant writing, establishing partnerships with school districts and other governmental organizations.  Additionally, she had collaborated on international projects in Central America, Europe, and South Asia.

She has served on numerous state, national, and international boards.  Most recently, she was a member of the New Hampshire State Board of Education affording her the opportunity impact policy for the K-12 educational system of the state.
