Welcome to the Credential Information page for currently enrolled students.  This page will provide you with the information you will need to obtain your credential.

Information for Students Registering or Student Enrolled in EDUC 550 or EDUC 556 – CalTPA’s:

EDUC 550 and EDUC 556 courses are designed for students to complete the California Teaching Performance Assessments (CalTPAs).  All multiple and single subject credential students are required to complete and pass the CalTPAs. These assessments are designed to give you the opportunity to develop, refine, and demonstrate your teaching knowledge, skills, and abilities during your teacher preparation program. 

All course work for both EDUC 550 and EDUC 556 requirements are completed online using Blackboard. Please contact James Taylor in order to be added to the EDUC 550 or EDUC 556 Blackboard site once you have registered for either of these courses.

Information for Current or Students about to be credentialed:

• In order to be recommended for your Preliminary Credential you must complete the Exit survey.  Professional Clear Candidates in PPSP and PPSC must also complete an exit survey

  Once you have completed the Exit Survey please contact the Maria Lynch at the Credential and Student Services Office to receive your Online Credential Recommendation Form.
